Roam N' Roost is here to make your trip as enjoyable as possible, whilst also making the process of hiring from us straight forward. This page details everything that is involved, from booking your luxury home on wheels to dropping it back off with us after your trip!

Selecting the ideal motorhome to hire

First you need to plan your trip then select a motorhome that fits around your needs. Each of our motorhomes excel in different areas. Consider if you need more garage or bathroom space or if a separate bedroom area is preferable. Perhaps you want separate bunk beds for the kids or your prefer a bigger kitchen or dinette area.

Booking your rental motorhome

Roam N' Roost have a live, fully up-to-date booking system on our website. First check our 'Who Can Hire' page to make sure you are eligible to hire then visit our booking page to see available dates for your selected motorhome. Most of our motorhomes are a minimum of 4 night hire but we may make shorter trips available where there are gaps in our calendar

When booking future trips, you will be asked to pay a 25% deposit at the time of booking then the remaining balance 4 weeks before your trip. Last minute trips less than 4 weeks away will require payment in full at the time of booking. Be sure to read our terms and conditions before you confirm the booking.

In the lead up to your motorhome hire

In the weeks before your hire you will receive an email from us requesting some documents. These are very important and it is essential you reply with them in good time. We need these to validate your insurance cover and fully confirm your hire. For each driver, we will need: a DVLA check code that is generated online, a scan or photo of driving license, two proof of address letters and an email answering our insurance questions.

We are here in the lead up to your motorhome hire to help with any questions you may have.

Motorhome Collection Day

Your luxury home on wheels will be ready to collect from 1pm. As we do same day turnarounds this can change if for example we have a late return. We will communicate with you and advise of any changes on the day.

When collecting your motorhome we will take the refundable hire deposit usually as a pre-authorisation on a credit card or by bank transfer if you prefer. Be sure to bring your physical bank card with you in case of any issues with contactless.

Allow up to one hour for handover. We will run through all of your motorhomes sytems and features with you and will do a video walkround to confirm the condition of the vehicle before you leave. We recommend you take your own pictures or video too.

Returning your hired motorhome

We need to get your motorhome ready for it's next adventure and we ask that you return it no later than 10am. We are open from 9am or earlier by  arrangement.

You should return with the bedding stripped, toilet casette emptied and flushed, grey water tank emptied and the vehicle in the same clean condition it was when you collected. Our team will visually inspect the vehicle when you return and a full inventory check will take place when the vehicle is being prepared for its next hire. Your deposit return will then be authorised and it can take 4-7 days to appear back on your card.
