Who Can Hire?
Please read before booking one of our motorhomes or campervans - Updated June 2025 on insurance renewal
Check 1: Driving Points & Convictions
Our insurance has some set requirements regarding points and convictions. UK license holders please check the table below to see if you are covered as standard. We will perform a DVLA check before your hire commences.
For EU and International licenses you will need to self declare any points and convictions.

If you fall outwith the criteria please contact us so we can make a referral to our underwritters.
Check 2: Driver Requirements
Drivers need to also meet the below requirements. Note there is different requirements depending on what motorhome you are looking to hire so please read carefully. If you fall outside of the criteria please contact us before you book. We may still be able to get you covered. Drivers age 75-79 can be covered as long as they hold a clean license. Our insurers do not discriminate against medical conditions and as long as the DVLA/Doctor/GP have not impossed any restrictions then you are covered as standard.

Check 3: Proofs of Address
Each driver needs to provide 2 proofs of address from the list below. We will ask for this 30 days before your hire. Note if your driving license shows no address on it we will need 3 proofs of address from the below. If your driving license is expired and in the process of being renewed we will also need a copy of your passport.
An annual council tax bill will be accepted. All other documents must be dated within 90 days of the hire date. The address & name on your licence must match both documents. Please redact any sensitive information when sending documents.
