Meet Rover, the newest and most capable member of our Roam N’ Roost family — a powerful, adventure-ready motorhome designed for exploring every corner of Scotland. Whether you’re chasing sunsets along the NC500, discovering the islands, or finding your own peaceful overnight spot in the Highlands, Rover is built to take you there in comfort and style.

At 7.43 metres long and 2.3 metres wide, Rover offers the perfect balance between space and drivability. Inside, he feels bright, modern and welcoming, with a fixed double bed at the rear and another spacious double above the cab, so there’s no setup hassle at night — just jump in and relax after a day of exploring.

But what truly sets Rover apart is his massive rear garage — the biggest in our entire fleet. It’s large enough to carry multiple bikes, paddleboards, surfboards or all the outdoor gear you could dream of taking on your Scottish adventure. The space, accessible from inside the van via a hatch, doubles as the perfect doggie compartment, If your dogs are crate trained they can be added or with the addition of beds its the perfect hangout space when stationary. With an internal shower you can even wash your dogs down when returning from outdoor adventures and store all of their fresh food in their own fridge box.

The living area is designed for comfort on the move, with swivel cab seats joining the dinette to create a sociable, relaxed lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a hob, oven, grill, sink and fridge/freezer, while the washroom offers a shower, toilet and sink — everything you need for self-contained travel.

As with all Roam N’ Roost motorhomes, Rover has been upgraded for true off-grid capability. He’s fitted with Starlink satellite internet to keep you connected anywhere in Scotland, an Avtex motorhome specific SatNav system for seamless navigation, and a large lithium leisure battery for extended power storage. Add in 800w of solar panels and a 240v inverter, and Rover becomes a completely self-reliant home on wheels — ready for long adventures without ever needing a electric hook-up.

Inside, you’ll find modern finishes, soft lighting and plenty of smart storage, giving Rover a calm, premium feel. On the road, the 165 BHP diesel engine delivers smooth, confident performance across Scotland’s mountain passes and winding coastal roads.
